HARMONIZING GRAMMAR AND SOUND: A FRENCH PHONOLOGY GUIDE is geared toward beginner, intermediate or advanced learners of French who already have a basic grasp of grammar and vocabulary but need deeper understanding of how grammar and sound interact. This book aims to help French language learners improve both their understanding of French grammar and their pronunciation as follow:

Bridge Grammar and Phonology: As the title suggests, there is a focus on harmonizing grammar and sound, which means the book would help learners understand how grammatical rules in French influence pronunciation, and vice versa. For example, how verb conjugation might affect stress patterns or how the structure of sentences influences the flow of speech.
Increase Phonological Awareness: The guide provides in-depth insights into French phonology (the system of sounds in the language), including topics like vowel sounds, nasal sounds, liaison, elision, and stress patterns. By mastering phonology, learners would improve their spoken French and comprehension.
Improve Pronunciation: For non-native speakers, French pronunciation can be a challenge. The book will provide practical tips, exercises, and examples for better articulating French sounds, with a particular focus on tricky aspects like the French “r,” nasal vowels, and silent letters.
Understand Contextual Grammar: Grammar rules in French can sometimes affect pronunciation in subtle ways. The eBook includes explanations of how word endings change the way words are spoken or how certain grammatical forms (e.g., subjunctive, future tense) influence stress or intonation.
Apply Learning with Practical Exercises: The book includes exercises to help learners practice the concepts introduced, such as pronunciation and other phonology exercises.

Overall, the purpose of the book is to guide learners in mastering both the rules of French grammar and the intricacies of its sounds, ultimately enhancing both their spoken and written fluency.
